Kitesurfing – Tour description
Level 1
Beginners can learn to kiteboard in the relative safety of a shallow lagoon that is not more than waist deep. It gives the option of absolutely flat water for advanced riders as well. You will receive 3 x 3 hour or 2 x 4.5 hours instruction, including equipment (board, kite, harness, life jacket and helmet). The course comprises theory, practical training with a trainer-kite, kite set up and handling, safety and rescue rules and regulations including water re-launch, body dragging and water start.
When you complete this course, you will be able to handle you kiteboard, fly the kite safely on land and water and enjoy your first ride. You are now ready for the next level and will receive a Kite-Proficiency Card Level 1.
Levels 2, 3 and 4
At the beginning of this course you and your instructor will discuss your goals and then prepare your specific program. Depending on your level of skill and speed of progress, you will then get the “elements” Proficiency Card for Level 2, 3 or 4. Advanced courses cover anything from riding upwind, transitions, toe side riding, airs, wave riding and carving, basic free style moves etc.
This training is designed specifically for you to improve the certain areas of skills you would like to concentrate on and to work one on one with your private instructor to successfully achieve the next level.
